**What it is.** AAS Core: a local, agent-first control plane with a `skills/` library of 2,115 skills (many aggregated from other public collections), a CLI (`aas`) and local MCP server for catalog discovery, agent-owned selection, stack validation, and planning, role-based bundles, workflows, and specialised Claude Code and Codex plugins. Large; install a bundle or a few skills rather than all of it. Code is MIT; the skill content is CC BY 4.0 (LICENSE-CONTENT).
